Today, Edwin serves as our Independent Consultant, bringing his extensive background in corporate governance, financial leadership, and strategic planning to our team. When he isn’t helping businesses navigate complex financial landscapes (“hazards,” as he might call them), you can usually find him on the golf course, where he plays to an impressive 8.0 handicap index.

Career Highlights

• Strategic Leadership at Monsanto (19+ Years): Edwin spent nearly two decades at Monsanto Company in a variety of high-impact leadership roles. He served as the CFO of the R&D Division, where he prioritized a $1B annual budget, and CFO of Vegetable Seeds (Seminis), leading a global team of over 80 finance professionals and managing $800M+ in revenue. His deep expertise spans treasury, risk management, commercial pricing and long-range planning.

• Spin-Off Execution at Mallinckrodt: As the Vice President of Tax, Treasury and Investor Relations at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, Edwin successfully built out key corporate functions to prepare their Specialty Generics business for a major planned spin-off.

• Strong Foundations: Edwin earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Missouri-Columbia and began his career in audit, establishing the sharp analytical eye and dedication to quality assurance that defines his work today.
